Leah Golomb grew up in New Jersey, USA, as one of four children in a Modern Orthodox family. Educated in Jewish Day Schools she began to question at an early age. Through the events of her life she embarked on a discovery journey that continues to this day.
Leah made aliyah in 1977 and has been living in Moshav Meor Modiim ever since. She is (still!) married to Michael and together have 6 grown children including triplets. Leah is a “savta” (grandmother) to 8 grandchildren and more to come, Godwilling.
As a student of the late Reb Shlomo Carlebach zt’l, Leah has a unique perspective on Hashem and Torah woven within her life. Her humour and personality shine through her style of giving over information and food for thought while encompassing a vast, detailed knowledge of Torah and a deep insight into the human side of our world.
Leah is also a calla teacher and a mikva lady for over 30 years. She teaches on her Moshav, in Yerushalayim and elsewhere in Israel. She also comes to other countries to teach.
Her classes are given mostly on the current weekly Torah portion and the calendar Jewish year. They provide thought-provoking questions and entertaining perspectives on spirituality and the practicality of a Torah life. Leah also gives classes on other topics of choice.
